Ex Libris Cactus Garden

Ex Libris Cactus Garden seal.

The Cactus Garden of Lanzarote It is a cactarium located in Guatiza, an island in Lanzarote, an autonomous community of the Canary Islands, Spain. It is located in an old quarry for extracting lapilli (volcanic pyroclastic material, locally called picón or rofe), which the campesinos of Lanzarote used to cover their crops and thus retain moisture that reached the roots of the plants. At the highest point of the garden is a mill that was used to grind millet and dates from the early 19th century.

Ex libris It is a Latin phrase that literally means "from among the books of," that is, a book originating from among the books of a public or private library. The Ex Libris cactus garden is a trademark that is usually placed on the back of the cover or the lid of a book. It contains the name of the owner of the copy or of the library that owns it.

The design is laser-engraved onto high-quality rubber, which ensures high-definition detail on our stamp. The relief of approximately 1 mm guarantees clean and clear impressions. We do not use the transparent polymer resins commonly employed by other manufacturers for this purpose.
