Sello Translator-Interpreter Juried

The sworn translator-interpreter stamp is an official and non-transferable tool. It grants legal validity to a translated document. For a sworn translation to be official (for example, endorsed by the MAEC in Spain), the stamp must necessarily contain:

NAME AND SURNAME
Translator/Interpreter/Judge of (IDIOMAS)
Number (NUMBER OF JURY MEMBER)

This is specified in the Order AEC/2125/2014, dated November 6. The sworn translator-interpreter stamp must contain only the requested data in Spanish, without any other mention or symbol. The stamp has a frame and measures 55 x 20 mm according to the official model approved.

These are the main reasons why a sworn translator-interpreter seal is important in the authentication of documents:

– Identity verification: a sworn translator-interpreter stamp serves as a means to verify the identity of the person who performed the document translation. It ensures that the person is who they say they are and that they have the legal authority to sign the document.

– Prevents counterfeiting: The stamps are designed to be difficult to replicate, making them an effective tool for preventing counterfeiting. A stamp that is designed and applied correctly will be difficult, if not impossible, to counterfeit.

Imprint. Customers are informed that ALL stamps to be manufactured, which contain official seals, belong to state companies and institutions such as schools, institutes, universities, registries of any size, the Police, the Civil Guard, Municipal Councils, Provincial Councils, Autonomous Communities, etc. As well as stamps from private entities recognized nationally and internationally, such as banks, insurance companies, discotheques, vehicle technical inspection, airlines, car manufacturers, etc. Those relating to natural persons, such as professional associations, state officials, sworn interpreters and translators, doctors, lawyers, procurators, etc.:They must be accompanied by an official authorization signed by said entity/company/person issued for the interested party requesting it., in which it is indicated:
      – Authorizing Entity.
      – Name of the person authorizing it and their position in the company/institution.
      – Model of stamp to be manufactured.
      – Units that are authorized to manufacture.
      – Person authorized to make the purchase.
      – Date of issuance of the authorization.
DigiStamps They may carry out appropriate verifications of authenticity to verify the validity of such authorization. This may delay the processing of the order and the customer understands that this is the case. DigiSeal It will inform the competent authorities of any attempt at forgery, providing the authorities with all the information provided by the buyer. In the event that the order has been paid for, the amount will not be refunded unless such authorization is provided and the order is cancelled through the usual channels referred to in our Purchase Conditions. In the event of an inability to present the authorization, the amount It will not be returned in any case. For orders that include other products, in addition to the stamp or stamps subject to the authorization required signed, no amount of any product will be refunded nor will a partial shipment of goods be made; the user may exercise their rights through the means provided by the consumer law, without prejudice to DigiSellos taking legal action for attempted forgery. Orders for stamps that mention companies and/or individuals other than the buyer will be verified and if it is found that the order is fraudulent, the purchase will be withheld in the same terms as stated above. The buyer absolves DigiSellos, the owner of the website, from any liability arising from the fraudulent and malicious use of any product purchased from DigiSellos through the aforementioned website or the telephone customer service line.
