Rubber seal for pallets IPPF-NIMF 15

Special IPPC rubber seal for wooden packaging according to the NIMF 15 standard.

The NIMF 15 regulation refers to the FAO international standard for phytosanitary measures that regulates all wood packaging, including pallets, which is used in international trade for the sole purpose of reducing the spread of pests that can be transported through wood packaging. The packaging regulated by this standard is all those made with natural wood, such as: pallets, wooden crates, wooden cages… Since 2002, the NIMF 15 standard indicates which phytosanitary treatments must be applied to any wood packaging intended for international transport. Currently, three types of treatments are permitted. The most commonly used are thermal treatments.

Seal measure: 80×40 mm. Seal with data according to IPPC standard NIMF 15 for pallets and any type of wooden packaging. The engraving of the seal according to IPPC standard NIMF 15 is done with the code provided by the customer.

International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15, also known as NIMF 15, is an international phytosanitary measure developed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) that directly addresses the need to treat wood materials with a thickness greater than 6 mm, used to ship products between different countries. Its main objective is to prevent the spread of diseases and insects that could seriously affect the plants or native ecosystems of each country.
