Ex Libris: The Colosseum in Rome

Seal Ex Libris Colosseum of Rome.

The Colosseum o Flavian Amphitheater It is an amphitheater from the Roman Empire era, built in the 1st century and located in the center of the city of Rome. Its original name, Anfiteatro Flavio, refers to the Flavian dynasty of emperors who built it; its later name, Colosseum, and by which it is better known today, is due to a large statue that stood nearby, the Colossus of Nero, which has not survived to our time. Due to its preservation and history, the Colosseum is one of the monuments more famous from the Classical Antiquity. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1980 by UNESCO and one of the The New Seven Wonders of the Modern World July 7, 2007.

Ex libris It is a Latin phrase that literally means "from among the books of," that is, a book originating from among the books of a public or private library. The Ex Libris Colosseum of Rome is a proprietary mark that is usually placed on the back of the cover or cover of a book. It contains the name of the owner of the copy or of the library that owns it.

The design is laser-engraved onto high-quality rubber, which ensures high-definition detail on our stamp. The relief of approximately 1 mm guarantees clean and clear impressions. We do not use the transparent polymer resins commonly employed by other manufacturers for this purpose.
