Sworn Translator-Interpreter Seal

The sworn translator's seal is an official and non-transferable instrument. It grants legal validity to a translated document. For a sworn translation to be official (for example, endorsed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the seal must contain the following:

NAME AND SURNAME
Sworn Translator/Interpreter of (LANGUAGE)
No. (NUMBER OF T/I JURY)

This is specified in the Order AEC/2125/2014November 6. The sworn translator-interpreter stamp must contain only the requested information, in Spanish and without any other mention or symbol. The stamp has a border and measures 55 x 20 mm according to the approved official model.

These are the main reasons why a sworn translator-interpreter seal is important in the authentication of documents:

– Identity verification: A sworn translator-interpreter seal serves as a means to verify the identity of the person who performed the translation of the document. It guarantees that the person is who they claim to be and that they have the legal authority to sign the document.

– Prevents counterfeiting: Stamps are designed to be difficult to replicate, making them an effective tool for preventing counterfeiting. A seal that is designed and applied correctly will be difficult, if not impossible, to forge.

Legal Notice. Customers are informed that ALL the stamps to be manufactured, which contain official shields, belong to state companies and institutions such as schools, institutes, universities, registries of any magnitude, Police, Civil Guard, City Councils, Provincial Councils, Autonomous Communities, etc. As well as the seals of nationally and internationally recognized private entities, such as banks, insurance companies, nightclubs, technical inspection of vehicles, airlines, car manufacturers, etc. Those related to natural persons, such as collegiate professionals, state officials, sworn interpreters and translators, doctors, lawyers, solicitors, etc.:THEY MUST ACCOMPANY AN OFFICIAL AUTHORIZATION SIGNED BY SAID ENTITY/COMPANY/PERSON ISSUED TO THE INTERESTED PARTY WHO REQUESTS IT, which indicates:

– Authorizing Entity.
      – Name of who authorizes it and their position in the company/institution.
      – Stamp model to be manufactured.
      – Units that are authorized to be manufactured.
      – Person authorized to make the purchase.
– Date of issue of the authorization.

DigiStamps We may carry out the necessary authenticity checks to verify this authorization. This may delay order processing, and the customer understands this. DigiStamps will inform the competent authorities of any forgery attempt, handing over to the authorities all the information provided by the buyer. In the event that the order has been paid, the amount will not be returned unless said authorization is provided and the order is canceled through the usual channels referred to in our Purchase Conditions. In case of impossibility to present the authorization, the amount will not be returned in any case. For orders that include other products, in addition to the stamp or stamps subject to the need for signed authorization, the amount of any product will not be refunded nor will partial shipment of merchandise be made, and the user may exercise their rights by the means protected by consumer law, without prejudice to the fact that DigiStamps take legal action for attempted forgery. Orders for stamps that mention companies and/or persons other than the buyer will be checked and if the order is found to be fraudulent, the purchase will be withheld under the same terms as those set out above. The buyer releases DigiStamps, owner of the website, from any liability arising from fraudulent or malicious use of any product you have purchased from DigiStamps, through the aforementioned website or the telephone helpline.
